This 5-mile Colorado River float trip takes you on an incredible journey through beautiful mountain ranchland and the formidable Gore Range. Keep your cameras handy as you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture the vast mountain ranges and beautiful wildlife on this gently flowing section fit for all ages. Once you enter the Gore Canyon, keep your eye out for Bald Eagles, beavers, and Big Horn sheep! And don’t let the whitewater catch you by surprise, these mild rapids will definitely push you out of your comfort zone. They are also a great way to cool off in the summer. On the mellow waters try out some of the fun rafting games like trying to stand on the head of the boat while everyone else works to spin the raft until you fall. You’ll also get a chance to jump from a cliff or hang out at some natural hot springs. Overall, this is the perfect trip to relax, sunbathe, and enjoy the great Colorado wild.
