Start your day getting geared up at our Kremmling Outpost before setting out to the Colorado River for the fly fishing tour of your dreams. Our local, professional guides are there to help with everything from orienting you with the river, and the fish, to dialing in your cast and fly selection. 

Our four-hour float trips are perfect for both novice and experienced fishermen. The trip will meet at our Kremmling Outpost, located an hour north of Breckenridge. This trip is unique in that each raft will have only one or two guests accompanied by one guide. The guide will be an experienced river and fishing guide who will handle all of the rowing of the raft and instruct guests on everything they should know to be successful anglers. The raft will stop at various points of interest along the Colorado River, including hidden hot springs! Fishing locations will be predetermined by your guide based on water levels, water clarity, soil type, and the time of year. Our guides know the river intimately and have multiple years of fly fishing experience. They will make adjustments to your rig and fly accordingly to ensure you have maximum potential to be a successful angler.

Arkansas River Fly Fishing Trips

This high-elevation river with crystal-clear water provides the perfect environment for fly fishing. Its headwaters are near Leadville and it flows south through the towns of Buena Vista and Salida. There is over 100 miles of floatable water with Gold Medal fly fishing stretches that hold an abundance of Brown and Rainbow Trout. You’ll find plenty of variety for river fishing, with endless riffles, runs, pools, undercuts, and overhanging brush.
