With rapids like Guide Ejector and Hell’s Corner there’s no doubt that this section of intense whitewater on the Lower Canyon section of Clear Creek is one for the books. This whitewater section offers continuous Class V rapids and an impressive 150 feet/mile gradient that’ll keep your heart pounding all the way through. After braving the unrelenting rapids on the Lower Canyon head into town to catch a breath and refuel at one of the delicious restaurants and breweries in Idaho Springs. Once lunch is over, its time to head for the skies with an exciting aerial adventure on the cliffs of Mount Evans. You’ll spend the afternoon hugging the rock walls hundreds of feet above ground, rappelling down a 70-foot rock face, and soaring through the air with three ziplines. You’ll end the day flying over the Chicago Creek back to our outpost before winding down and heading back with only a short 1-hour drive to Breckenridge or 30-minutes to Denver.
